In Luke 24, we meet a group of women who go to Jesus’ tomb with spices in hand. Their intent is to care for the dead, not to celebrate a resurrection. They are filled with grief, not hope. Were they immediately overjoyed? No. Luke tells us they were troubled—confused, perhaps afraid. I hope we take time to reflect quietly on the many ways God is at work in our lives. They may not be dramatic or flashy. He is with us—even when we don’t immediately recognize Him.

On Palm Sunday, we remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. People waved palm branches—symbols of victory, peace, and prosperity—hoping Jesus would be the one to restore their nation and bring deliverance. But the question for us is this: Where are our eyes fixed?
